Young People for a New Era is funded by New Era Action Fund, a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization dedicated to building youth political power in Colorado. New Era Action Fund is the leading voice for young people in Colorado politics and one of the most effective youth civic engagement organizations in the country.
Our generation is tired of the same broken promises and dark money that have plagued politics for generations. We believe that true representation starts with electing a new era of leaders who will fight for affordable housing, take on corporate greed, protect our basic human rights and autonomy, and defend our democracy.

The 2026 Colorado state primary is an opportunity for voters to choose which candidate they would like to see represent their party on the general election ballot this November! It’s our generation’s chance to shape our ballot and vote for someone we can actually be excited to vote for again this November.
That’s why we’ve endorsed candidates who represent young people's values and issues. A vote for the candidates endorsed in our voter guide is a vote for a different, better era of politics.
