As Colorado Attorney General, Phil Weiser has taken on corporate landlords, Big Pharma, powerful corporations, and the Trump administration, and he’s won. Now he's running for governor to lower the cost of living, protect our rights and freedoms, and make sure Colorado remains a place where working people can actually afford to build a future.

Phil Weiser has served as Colorado's Attorney General since 2019, using the office to stand up for consumers, workers, renters, reproductive freedom, and Colorado's democracy.
As Attorney General, Phil helped return more than $550 million to Colorado consumers harmed by fraud, fought corporate landlords accused of illegally driving up rents, took on the Kroger-Albertsons mega-merger over concerns about higher grocery prices and lost jobs, defended abortion access, and repeatedly challenged unlawful actions by the Trump administration.
Phil is running for governor because protecting Coloradans also means tackling the affordability crisis head-on. His housing plan calls for adding 40,000 attainable homes, speeding up construction, expanding down-payment assistance for first-time buyers, protecting renters, and stopping corporate landlords from using algorithms to artificially inflate rents.
And at a moment when the federal government is attacking reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ people, immigrants, climate protections, and democracy itself, Phil has shown that he is willing to fight back. As governor, he has committed to protecting abortion rights, gender-affirming care, Colorado's voting laws, immigrants, public lands, and the state's ability to take action on climate change.
Taking on corporate power: Phil has used the Attorney General's office to challenge monopolies, corporate landlords, fraud, and companies that take advantage of consumers.Affordable housing: Phil wants to dramatically increase the supply of attainable homes while protecting renters and helping first-time buyers.
Defending our rights: Phil has pledged to continue fighting attacks on abortion access, LGBTQ+ Coloradans, immigrants, democracy, and civil rights.

Defending LGBTQ+ Coloradans: Protecting gender-affirming healthcare and enforcing Colorado's civil rights laws.
Standing up to Trump: Fighting unlawful federal actions that threaten Colorado's residents, public funding, immigrants, elections, and the National Guard.
Climate action: Meeting Colorado's emissions targets, protecting clean air and water, building climate resilience, and requiring responsible development of energy-intensive data centers.
Creating economic opportunity: Supporting workers, small businesses, workforce development, rural communities, public education, and youth mental health.
