Stephanie Vigil knows what it means to struggle to make ends meet because she has lived it. A former gig worker and state representative, Stephanie brought working-class experience to the Capitol and turned it into action on affordable housing, workers' rights, transportation, and LGBTQ+ equality.
She's running to return to the legislature and keep fighting for a Colorado Springs where everyone has a real opportunity to thrive.

Stephanie Vigil politics were shaped by experiencing housing and transportation insecurity, and the realities facing workers living paycheck to paycheck.
When voters elected her to represent HD 16 in 2022, Stephanie brought those experiences directly into the State Capitol. During her time in office, she fought for stronger worker protections, more abundant housing, better public transportation, and policies that make everyday life more affordable.
Stephanie also brought her own experience as a gig worker to policymaking. She prime-sponsored legislation establishing new protections and transparency requirements for app-based delivery drivers, legislation that became law in 2024.
She also prime-sponsored nd passed a major housing reform law that removed expensive barriers to building more homes and creating more walkable communities.
Stephanie is running to return to the legislature because HD 16 deserves someone who understands what struggling families are actually experiencing, and who has already shown that she can turn those experiences into policy that makes their lives better.
